If you are moving to Lyon, reduce the stress of the relocation process by hiring the perfect international removals company for you, and planning well in advance. Both of these elements will make your move that little bit easier, cheaper and by enlarge, much more efficient. Knowing when to save money by cutting corners is a skill, but if you cut the wrong corners, you may find that mistakes are made, and the costs of rectifying them can result in things becoming a lot more expensive for you. Clearly this is not the way you want things to be, so have a look over our advice for making everything that little bit easier for your french relocation.

The best way to start when you are attempting to make your move that little bit less stressful is EARLY! Getting things going a good month or so in advance of the move will mean that you have all the time that you need to get things sorted in good time before the big day. This type of advanced planning will mean that you can work exactly what you need tog et done before the actual move, and will also make the whole thing that little bit less daunting, as suddenly the realistic weight of the process is more obvious. If you plan well in advance you may well be able to get the workload down to a couple of hours a day, rather than freaking out about everything at the last minute, and having to run around for a week solid! Begin by working out everything that you have to get done, and run the list past a friend who will be able to tell you whether you have missed anything out. Do not be too proud to accept help, as it can be the difference between a smooth move and driving yourself mad. Once you have a comprehensive list of that which you need to get done, you can map the whole process on to a timetable, which will show you how much needs to be done each day, and will allow you to allocate the hours that you spend working on the move to times in which you are not busy with the rest of your life. You don’t want to let the move get in the way of your work or social life, especially when you’re about to move abroad, as you will almost certainly want to keep the work up as well as spend time with friends in your last month in the country.

One of the things that you must get sorted in the first stages of your move preparation is the removals team. If you are moving to France, then you will need to get hold of an international moving company who can at least advise you on your options. You will need to decide as to what you will be taking with you, as moving furniture can be an extremely cumbersome process which will potentially leave you with a large bill for your trouble. Seeing as France is so close to the UK, you may be able to load up a van and drive everything over yourself, as this would be cheaper than shipping, but you may well have to use a larger van, which you would need an experienced driver for. The most attractive option for many, is to sell up and make a fresh start with your new home. Getting rid of your clutter and even your furniture can be a great way to make some money, as well as saving cash on the moving process, as you will likely just be able to ship over a couple of boxes worth of clothes and the like. With the money that you save, you can make your new place look perfect with new furniture!
